LeanData is expanding its Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function to provide strategic, data-driven insights and decision support for its leadership team. Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Manager of FP&A will play a pivotal role in collaborating with LeanData's cross-functional teams to drive critical business insights. This high-visibility position will help align business OKRs, build dashboards, and track key financial metrics, establishing a financial framework for the company's rapid growth. As LeanData continues to scale, this role will be instrumental in managing the complexities of a high-growth environment.
This position is based in our Santa Clara, CA office, operating on a hybrid basis.
Financial Analysis

Financial Analysis
- Support and enhance the integration of financial systems, statements, and tools.
- Develop and monitor essential financial reporting and performance metrics.
- Manage the financial forecast model and lead the consolidated strategic and financial planning processes.
- Prepare presentations and reporting materials for the Board of Directors and Executive Team.
- Assist with capital raising efforts and investor communications as needed.
- Provide actionable insights from financial metrics to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to maintain accurate revenue forecasting and monitor sales quota and compensation metrics; experience with B2B SaaS pricing is a plus.
- Work with cross-functional partners to establish baseline budgets, driving resource investments, headcount planning, and company-wide target setting.
- Implement tools and processes that will enable the company to scale efficiently over time.
- Develop strategies to manage the challenges associated with rapid growth, ensuring the financial foundation supports LeanData’s expanding operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate planning, business finance, investment banking, private equity, or related areas, with FP&A and project management experience.
- Experience in B2B SaaS at an early-stage, high-growth company is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience building integrated models from scratch in Excel or similar planning tools. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, drive business outcomes, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience supporting high-growth private companies and familiarity with capital-raising processes.
- Prior experience in the SaaS industry.
