  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to join our Infrastructure and Platform Architecture team under the Office of the CTO. In this role, you will collaborate with Solution Architects and engineering teams to design and deliver infrastructure solutions that align with approved patterns and reference architectures. You will bridge the gap between engineering and architecture teams, ensuring seamless communication and integration of both perspectives, and present technical recommendations and trade-offs to senior leadership. This role involves co-creating and documenting architecture designs that meet both business and enterprise requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business MIS teams to design solutions aligned with reference architectures and delivery patterns.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and engineering teams to ensure infrastructure and platform solutions meet business requirements.
  • Identify, document, and recommend improvements to architecture designs, presenting these to architecture review forums and leadership.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, architecture enhancements, and opportunities for reuse.
  • Serve as the liaison between engineering and architecture teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding across both sides.
  • Develop technical designs and documentation following engineering standards and best practices.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience in solution architecture and infrastructure engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of infrastructure technologies and platforms.
  • Ability to speak to complex technical concepts during interviews and meetings.

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • VMware ESX
  • Converged and Hyperconverged Infrastructure
  • Storage technologies
  • Application integration technologies (e.g., Kafka, message queuing)
  • Kubernetes
  • Modern microservice development
  • Service Bridge
  • API Gateways and Management

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to document technical designs and explain concepts clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
  • Experience presenting to and interacting with senior leadership.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • ITIL certification (a plus).
  • TOGAF certification (a plus).

Years of Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in solution architecture and infrastructure engineering.
