Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required. A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting for a large company

Update: Also these positions are going to most likely be remote now with possible travel to NYC for some training.

This position will be focused various account reconciliations required on a year to date basis in preparation for audit

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compile and analyze financial data for various P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
• Identify variances and required correcting entries
• Utilize various data sources to track transactions
• Become familiar with GL accounting structure and impacted accounts for reconciliations
• Work with internal finance teams to understand the coding and impact of certain transactions
• Report findings and required entries to finance management team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and willing to roll up your sleeves.
• Ability to independently organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and reach conclusions for recommendations.
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a high-quality product.
• Detail oriented and strong analytical skills required.
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills, decision-making and judgment.
• Demonstrates accountability for personal work product.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics desirable, but not required
• Must be proficient in MS excel including pivot tables, vlookups, and other data analysis tools
