iSphere.net, a leading IT consulting company in Texas and Houston, is searching for a Director of Infrastructure and Security for a FULLTIME opportunity!!! Reporting to the Head of IT/CIO, this role will be responsible for cybersecurity, data center operations, network administration, and system administration for iSphere.net's clients.

As the most senior infrastructure and operations role at iSphere.net, the Director will be accountable for aligning I&O strategy with overall IT and business goals. They will introduce innovative infrastructure operations and security capabilities to enhance competitive advantages and productivity.

The Director will stay current on emerging technologies and provide guidance on incorporating them into I&O products/services. They will build relationships with IT and business stakeholders to understand needs and ensure cost-effective delivery.

Responsibilities:

- Set infrastructure and security vision, mission and strategy for iSphere.net
- Introduce innovative infrastructure operations and security capabilities
- Recommend emerging technologies to integrate into offerings
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with IT and business stakeholders
- Ensure security, integrity and availability of systems
- Assess security controls and enhance as needed
- Collaborate on Microsoft Azure cloud implementation
- Manage I&O budget and promote continuous cost optimization
- Lead comprehensive IT Service Management processes and tools
- Maintain systems documentation for compliance
- Continuously evaluate I&O value with metrics
- Improve IT resilience and disaster recovery readiness
- Direct I&O sourcing strategy and vendor relationships
- Build diverse I&O leadership team and reporting structure
- Support team career progression and development
- Partner with HR on I&O workforce planning

Requirements:

- Bachelor's in MIS or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in business and IT, 5+ in public cloud
- 5+ years of leadership experience in strategy, budgeting, staffing
- Recent energy industry experience
- Resourceful team player
- Proven leading teams, projects and operations
- Adapt and reprioritize effectively
- Critical thinking and strategic skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Infrastructure architecture and project/vendor management expertise

Beneficial Certifications: CISSP, CCNP, MCSA, Cloud, ITIL
