IT Service Advisor/Content Strategist/UX Writer - Contract - W2 Only - Remote

IT Service Advisor/Content Strategist/UX Writer This is a W-2 position only (no staffing agencies or contractors). Candidates must currently reside in the U.S. Mon-Fri, 8 am-5 pm, REMOTE position. Preferred time zones: EST or CST. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content and communication strategy for assigned projects, aligning with business objectives to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all channels, supporting organizational goals.
• Create content through multiple communication channels while maintaining core messaging that is consistent and concise.
• Examples of content creation include, but are not limited to, emails, training documentation, video scripts, tool/website interface verbiage, product descriptions, newsletters, and articles.
• Create unique content tailored to specific projects or programs, targeting the appropriate colleague audience.
• Generate innovative ideas for workflow solutions (e.g., internal tools).
• Ensure high-quality communication delivery for multiple concurrent projects or programs within Technology teams.
• Act as a team advocate, setting direction for best communication practices outside of the core team.
• Support efforts to develop standard practices and guidelines for communication components.

Skills:

• Clear, concise, and engaging writing.
• Ability to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points to create user-friendly content.
• Experience writing text/copy for collaboration tools, web experiences, and/or products to help colleagues navigate these channels.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across project and program teams, including leading discussions and providing balanced information on ideas or communicating issues.
• Ability to learn new technologies and technical products to support content creation.
• Works independently, prioritizes tasks, and meets agreed-upon deadlines.

Education:

• At least 3 years of experience in communications, with a focus on technical or user experience (UX) content being a plus.
• A bachelor s degree in communications is preferred.
