Summary:
The Infrastructure Architect Sr will determine user requirements and design specifications for computer networks.

Job Responsibilities:
Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands.
Communicate with customers, sales, or marketing teams to understand customer needs.
Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or operating systems.
Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas.
Develop and implement solutions for network-related issues.
Develop conceptual, logical, or physical network designs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, customer service orientation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Basic mentoring skills to provide support and constructive feedback.
Knowledge of computer hardware and its relation to data storage.
Familiarity with configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating systems, and internet directory services software.
Education/Experience:
High School Degree required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
6-8 years of experience in a similar role required.
Position Overview:
As an Infrastructure and Platform Solutions Architect, you will join the Infrastructure and Platform Architecture team under the CTO's office. You will collaborate with Solution Architects in business MIS teams to design and deliver solutions aligned with approved delivery patterns and reference architectures. You will also work with enterprise architecture and engineering teams to engineer and align infrastructure and platform solutions with business requirements. You will consult, co-create, and document architecture designs that meet both business and enterprise needs. You will provide architecture recommendations, highlight tradeoffs, and explore opportunities for technology enhancements, which will be presented to architecture review forums and senior leadership.

Note: This is not a developer role.

Technical Skills/Experience (Must-Have):
Advanced and experienced in solution architecture.
Strong background in infrastructure engineering.
Flexible Skills (Preferred):
VMware ESX
Converged/Hyperconverged infrastructure
Storage technologies
Application integration technologies (Kafka, message queuing)
Kubernetes
Modern microservice development
Service Bridge
API Gateways and Management
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand and document technical designs clearly.
Knowledge of engineering standards and best practices.
Comfortable interacting with higher-level management.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor s Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science or related field).
ITIL Certification is a plus.
TOGAF Certification is a plus.
Experience:
10+ years of relevant experience.
