Human Resources Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary:

The Human Resource Onboarding Specialist aids with and facilitates the human resource processes across all business divisions. This role is responsible for onboarding contracted employees across several clients ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Sends out employment related documents, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements.
  • Operates within client systems to finalize contractor onboarding including uploading completed documents and/or entering in contractor personal information adhering to confidentiality and privacy policies
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions related to benefits, time-off, onboarding, and company policy.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Works with HR Manager in assisting contracted employees with leave of absence and accommodation requests
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
  • Conducts audits of company benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Completes client compliance audits, ensuring accuracy
  • Assists HR Manager with processing of terminations and performance management
  • Assists with completing new hire for payroll ensuring accuracy within applicable portals
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Supports HR Team in overflow tasks, or out of office coverage
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Experience:

  • At least one year of administrative experience in an office setting, with an HR concentration preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • In office M-W for the first 90 days, then twice weekly on M&T
