Job Title: IT Systems Team Manager

Your Role in Our Success: As the IT Systems Team Manager, you will lead the Systems Team, overseeing all systems, servers, cloud, and related platform infrastructure. You will guide day-to-day operations, resolve system issues, and drive strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of systems engineers, administrators, and specialists, providing daily guidance, setting priorities, and handling PTO requests.
  • Infrastructure Performance: Ensure optimal system performance across data centers and cloud infrastructure, addressing current gaps in monitoring and process management.
  • Disaster Recovery: Oversee and refine disaster recovery and business continuity processes, with a focus on annual testing, improving asset management, and adapting as the company moves to Azure.
  • Project Execution: Execute technology roadmaps and strategic plans in collaboration with leadership, focusing on a 2-5 year horizon.
  • System Operations: Oversee the acquisition, installation, performance, and security of servers and cloud infrastructure, including platforms like Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, M365, Exchange, Citrix, and SharePoint.
  • Issue Resolution: Provide guidance and support to resolve technical issues as they arise, ensuring the team can manage workloads from multiple angles.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: 5+ years in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies, including Azure, Windows Server, M365, Exchange, SQL Server, Commvault, Citrix, and data center hardware. Minimum 3 years managing a team of IT professionals.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with a focus on developing a positive team culture. Able to guide team members, have difficult conversations, and drive projects to completion.
  • Technical Expertise: Able to "talk the talk" with the team on technologies like Exchange, Citrix, and M365, ensuring systems are properly supported and maintained.
  • Soft Skills: Empathetic leader who balances technical and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive, non-heroic team environment.
  • Disaster Recovery: Proven expertise in developing, testing, and improving disaster recovery and business continuity plans, including replication processes.
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology (preferred).

Work Location:

  • Onsite on Tuesday and Wednesday, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
