Contract Role Duration: 5-6 months with option for project extension

Hybrid Role: 80% onsite, 20% remote

Job Summary

Our engineering services client who provides process & packaging equipment engineering, validation, technical writing and overall project management services to his clients in the Food & Beverage, Health & Beauty, Cosmetics, Nutritional, Medical Devices, and Pharmaceutical markets is currently seeking a Project Manager to support two active projects at this clients manufacturing site in West Chester. These projects will be to lead the installation of new packaging lines, assembly machines, and warehouse AGV conveyor systems at the site.

Duties/Deliverables Include But Are Not Limited To The Following

  • Run weekly client Project Team meetings
  • Maintain the Project Schedule with input from other supporting projects (SCADA, AHUs, Construction, Warehouse)
  • Coordinate discussions between supporting projects to ensure everyone on same pag
  • Maintain the Project Action Items Tracker
  • Support client project meetings
  • Support Machine FAT's (Factory Acceptance Testing)
  • Oversee Installation (Managed by construction/engineering contractor)
  • Oversee Validation
  • Maintain the project budget (actuals, accruals, estimations)
  • Update PMO Project Tracker Slides (high level schedule, wins, misses, escalations)
  • Present Project Slides to Site Leadership in weekly meetings

Candidates with previous pharmaceutical manufacturing project or related regulated industry (such as biotech, life science, medical device, nutraceutical) experience are needed. Knowledge of related product packaging equipment/systems (assembly, tray loading, conveying, labeling, weighchecking, case packing, palletizing, serialization and warehouse AVG) is also needed.
