Job Description:

As a Mechanical Product Design and Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and analyzing mechanical and hydraulic components used in aircraft brake control systems. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for hydro-mechanical products, ensuring that they meet defined requirements and are successfully integrated into our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • New Product Development:
    • Design and analyze mechanical and hydraulic components for aircraft brake control systems.
    • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for hydro-mechanical products on assigned projects or programs.
    • Develop, design, and modify components to meet specified requirements.
    • Prepare documentation to define products and verify analytical results.
    • Provide technical assistance to internal departments, suppliers, and customers regarding product-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing
  • 7-10 years of experience in mechanical product design and development
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with aircraft brake control systems (preferred)

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with electromechanical design (preferred)
