Baer is looking for an SAP PP MRP (GPD PMMO) for a 9+ month Remote project.
Title: SAP PP MRP (GPD PMMO)
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 9+ Months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 Only (C2C Not Permitted)
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP PP-MRP implementations, enhancements, or upgrades, specifically focusing on GPD or PMMO processes.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize project-based manufacturing solutions.
• Integrate SAP PP-MRP with PS and MM modules, ensuring seamless workflows between project systems, materials management, and production planning.
• Configure MRP procedures, BOM management, routing, and production orders to align with customer-specific project and production needs.
• Oversee cost accounting, material pegging, and financial management within multi-project settings, ensuring proper cost control and resource allocation.
• Provide expertise in GPD or PMMO to streamline project-based production processes, including grouping, pegging, and distribution of materials.
• Analyze and optimize production planning processes, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Work closely with the business to understand their needs and translate them into system solutions.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring continuous improvement of the solution.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to best practices.
• Stay up to date with SAP innovations, including Fiori Apps and SAP S/4HANA, and provide recommendations for leveraging new functionalities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP PP-MRP modules.
• In-depth knowledge of GPD (Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution) or PMMO (Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization) processes.
• Strong experience in project-based or engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing environments.
• Expertise in integrating SAP PP with PS (Project Systems) and MM (Materials Management) modules.
• Solid understanding of MRP procedures, BOM (Bill of Materials) management, routing, and production orders.
• Familiarity with cost accounting principles and material pegging in a multi-project setting.
• Proven track record of leading full-cycle SAP implementations or major enhancements.
• Experience with SAP Fiori Apps and SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• SAP Certification in PP, MRP, or Project Systems (PS) is highly desirable.
