Systems and Cybersecurity Administrator

JOB SUMMARY:

Adams Outdoor Advertising (AOA), the 4th largest and largest private Outdoor Advertising firm in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Systems and Cybersecurity Administrator. This role requires a specialist who can manage, secure and optimize our infrastructure, specifically within Office 365 and Azure environments, while also ensuring the highest levels of security for our applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud administration, cybersecurity best practices, and a strong background in systems administration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE:

• Manage and maintain Office 365 and Azure cloud environments, ensuring optimal security, performance and availability.
• Configure, deploy, and manage cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
• Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations with various identity providers to secure applications and streamline user access.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across all IT systems.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities in real-time.
• Manage and maintain Windows servers and virtual machines (VMs).
• Oversee Active Directory, Group Policy, and related systems to ensure proper access control and configuration management and security hardening.
• Administer Microsoft Intune for device management, including policy enforcement, application deployment, and endpoint security.
• Administer various security platforms (Defender, AV/EDR/MDR, SIEM, Conditional Access, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration, with a strong focus on Office 365 and cloud administration.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity administration, best practices and security platform implementation and administration.
• Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Proficiency in managing Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows servers/VMs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
• Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
