About The Role

As a Production Manager, you will lead a team in manufacturing high-quality products. You will oversee the production process, ensuring that your team has the necessary support, training, and resources. You will collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and quality while meeting customer demand.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage the production team to achieve goals.
  • Communicate expectations to the team and provide regular feedback.
  • Train and develop team leaders to promote a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet organizational objectives.
  • Lead improvement efforts to enhance quality and reduce waste.
  • Manage production schedules and coordinate staff and equipment.
  • Assist Engineering, Production Personnel and Sales/Marketing Team members with production-related projects, questions and problems as needed.
  • Participates in and leads department responses to MRB and NCR/CAPA feedback as needed.
  • Performs training and/or ensures required training is completed on time and is effective. Training may include routine safety, quality, and Work Skills training, or ad hoc training for specific company needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years direct supervisory experience
  • Prior experience working in a business adhering to ISO or other quality standards.
  • Prior experience working with common inspection methods/processes.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • This position requires the successful candidate to not be a prohibited person under the Gun Control Act (GCA), codified at 18 U.S.C.
  • 922(g), which makes it unlawful for certain categories of persons to ship, transport, receive, or possess firearms or ammunition.
  • Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Chardon, Ohio will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Management Methodology
  • Six Sigma Green belt or other similar certifications
  • Proficient with MS365 Suite or other office software (Google Workspace, etc)
