About the Role

Seeking a Financial Analyst/Senior Analyst for our Bowling Green plant. As an instrumental member of the Finance organization, the Financial Analyst will be actively involved in providing financial analysis and supporting the manufacturing plant, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis to drive business performance. This role involves collaborating with various departments to optimize financial processes and support decision-making. This role will report to the Plant Controller. Support creation of annual operating plan for plant controllable operating expense and capital expenditures

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, forecasts, and budgets for the plant.
  • Cost Analysis: Monitor and analyze production costs, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Variance Analysis: Investigate and explain variances between actual and budgeted results, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Budgeting/Forecasting: Assist in the development and management of annual budgets, financial plans, and forecasting.
  • Financial Modeling: Create financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and other strategic projects (i.e. ROI analysis, buy vs. make, etc.)
  • Collaboration: Work closely with plant operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to gather data and provide financial insights.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
  • Reporting Tools: Utilize financial software, and tools to enhance/optimize reporting accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
  • Work closely with the regional/global finance leadership team and business leaders to develop and provide plant specific financial metrics, data, analysis, and insights
  • Close process: Adhere to corporate close timelines, and processes

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree.
  • 3-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong software and systems acumen (ERP experience preferred, SAP experience a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
