Our client, a leading baby brand, is seeking a Copywriter to join their team in NYC! This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing and involves maintaining the brand's voice across various communication channels, including email, digital and social media, e-commerce, packaging, and print marketing materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure brand voice consistency across all communication platforms, creating copy for websites, emails, social media (both paid and organic), print materials, and wholesale channels.
  • Work alongside the creative team to integrate copy and messaging hierarchy seamlessly into overall design layouts across all channels.
  • Partner with marketing, e-commerce, and design team members to ensure unified messaging and cohesive brand storytelling.
  • Develop compelling copy for the wholesale sales team to educate potential and existing specialty retailers and department stores about the company's offerings.
  • Write SEO-friendly website copy, including product descriptions, landing pages, and blog posts, ensuring all content is optimized for search engines.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape to keep brand messaging fresh, relevant, and engaging.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of in-house copywriting experience with a reputable brand, showcasing a portfolio of diverse marketing copy samples.
  • Proven experience in optimizing copy for SEO.
  • Ability to create effective copy for all stages of the marketing funnel, from brand awareness to conversion.
  • Enthusiasm for the baby/parenting sector; prior experience writing for parenting-focused brands is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional proofreading skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines and ensuring thorough follow-through.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with UX/UI design is a plus.

Salary: $75,000-$85,000 commensurate with experience

Hybrid 3-4 days on site in New York City office
