Role Description

The Quality Control Chemist will play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through rigorous testing, data analysis, and compliance with industry regulations. This full-time position involves conducting quality control tests, analyzing data, maintaining laboratory equipment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct chemical, physical, and instrumental analysis (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests and results in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and other relevant regulations.
  • Analyze and interpret test results, identifying trends or deviations that could impact product quality.
  • Participate in out-of-specification (OOS) investigations and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) and Production teams to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement.
  • Support cross-functional teams with quality initiatives and special projects.
  • Ensure that the laboratory environment is clean, safe, and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
  • Quality Control and Analytical Skills
  • Laboratory Skills and Laboratory Equipment knowledge
  • Calibration experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
