Job Title- HEDIS Clinical Quality Analyst

Duration- 4-5 months

1. Medical record review for HEDIS and HEDIS-like measures

2. Over-read of medical records

The candidate must be technically savvy and must be able to work without distraction. This is a high production environment, and candidates must adhere to measured productivity requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Performs provider/practitioner medical record reviews to verify clinical data elements for HEDIS and HEDIS-like measures abstracted by vendor, while meeting established production goals

•Maintains HIPAA standards and confidentiality of protected health information; reports critical incidents immediately

•Communicates questions and/or concerns to your Contractor Supervisor or assigned Specialist, as appropriate, in a timely manner

• Attends team meetings to provide information relating to clinical reviews and compliance

• Successfully completes HEDIS technical specification training and testing with a passing score of 95% or greater

• Successfully completes HEDIS software training and uses software correctly

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Shift Start/End: Full-time 8:00am-5:00pm M-F in your time zone as appropriate

• Ability to commit to entire December–May assignment with no or minimal absences

The ideal candidate is technically saavy and must be able to work without distraction. Background includes but not limited to experience/ education in the healthcare and/or managed care industry. HEDIS experience with specific experience with any of the following quality measures: BPD, CBP, CCS, COL, COA, HBD, EED, CIS, DVSCH, IMA, LSC, PPC, TRC, and WCC. HEDIS experience with LTSS, FFR, and FFS a plus. Overread experience of these measures.

Required skills/ attributes include but not limited to:

• Research and detail-oriented, excellent proof-reading skills

• Critical thinking skills

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills

• Effective communication skills

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including: Word, Excel, Adobe, and PowerPoint
