Job Title: Client Relations Manager (Projects and Strategic Accounts)

Job Overview:

The Client Relations Manager (Projects and Strategic Accounts) is responsible for managing and growing strategic relationships with clients. The role focuses on navigating projects through stages of the project pipeline, collaborating with internal teams and ensuring a seamless handover to project management teams. The manager will also handle strategic accounts where full pipeline access is granted, coordinating with the Business Development team on new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management and Pipeline Engagement:

  • Manage and oversee projects that progress through stages of the project pipeline, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Work with the Pre-Construction team to maximize customer experience.
  • Ensure a smooth and comprehensive handover of projects to the Project Management team in collaboration with the Pre-Construction team.

Strategic Account Management:

  • Take ownership of strategic accounts where full pipeline access is granted, engaging with the clients regularly to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Partner with the Business Development team to qualify new projects not currently in the CRM. Once qualified, manage these projects through future pipeline stages.
  • Conduct joint meetings with Business Development as needed to support strategic accounts and ensure alignment on project opportunities.

Regional and Expertise-Based Project Allocation:

  • Oversee projects divided by region and area of expertise, ensuring that projects are managed by the most suitable team members.
  • Provide support and guidance to other team members as needed to drive project success.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss project status, strategy, and upcoming opportunities.
  • Engage in continuous communication with internal teams to ensure a coordinated approach to managing strategic accounts.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Number of Deals Won
  • Gross Profit (GP) Achieved
  • Measurable Sales Interactions (MSI), such as Calls or Meetings Conducted
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in client relations, project management, or sales, particularly within high-value projects.
  • Strong understanding of the project pipeline process, from qualification to execution.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Pre-Construction and Project Management teams to optimize project outcomes.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and project tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or a related industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field.
Working Conditions:
  • This role will require travel to meet with clients and attend project meetings.
  • Flexibility in working hours may be needed to accommodate project schedules and client availability.
