Electra is currently searching for a highly motivated, detail – oriented team player to join as an Associate Vice President with the Asset Management Team in the Philadelphia Office. The responsibilities for this role include: assisting with reporting, underwriting, analysis, structuring, dispositions, and Sponsorship relations.

The role supports key strategic priorities and provides a high degree of visibility to both senior management and our clients.

Electra Capital, is an alternative lender specializing multifamily financing solutions, providing short-term capital solutions and advisory services to middle-market real estate firms. Our track record, experienced team, and pragmatic investment approach allow the team to identify and execute on attractive opportunities with compelling risk-reward profiles. We focused on Multifamily property types with value creation opportunities, located in high economic and demographic growth markets.

Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, an individual must possess strong analytical, interpersonal, and writing skills. In addition, this person will be a conceptual thinker, creative, articulate and have the ability to understand and convey a variety of real estate and financial concepts at all levels. Outstanding execution and organization skills combined with excellent judgment and exemplary ethics and values are imperative. The successful candidate will be involved with the activities below and should possess the following specific competencies or attributes:

  • Oversee property operations and drive portfolio performance by establishing KPI tracking methods.
  • Develop sound reporting methods to be implemented across the portfolio.

· Prepare Financial Models and Underwrite assets within the portfolio for valuation purposes.

· Work with Senior Management to develop and negotiate deal and fund strategies.

  • Develop and execute on stated goals focused on property and fund-level performance.
  • Conduct market visits and property inspections to ensure proper operations and build key relationships.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Support acquisition and origination efforts when needed.

Qualifications

· 3-5 Years of relevant work experience in one of the following fields: Real Estate Asset Management, Private Equity, Multifamily Real Estate Experience, Lending Experience.

· Strong Analytical Skills

· Strong understanding of Real Estate, Private Equity, or Finance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, or Real Estate.
