The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Billerica, established in 1971, provides youth with constructive afterschool and summer programs. Serving nearly 650 youth daily, the Club offers programs in Childcare, Drop-in, and Aquatics, along with a full-day camp in the summer. Affiliated with Boys & Girls Club of America, the organization is independently run and part of a network of 4,200 Club facilities worldwide.

Role Description

This is a full time on-site role for a Chief Executive Officer at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Billerica. The CEO will oversee daily operations, financial management, business planning, fundraising, and strategic planning to ensure the Club's continued growth and impact.

Qualifications

Supervise the effective operation and delivery of programs within the Club and community:

· Support the organization’s mission and principles

· Maintain an environment that facilitates the achievement of youth development outcomes

· Implement programs, services and activities that support youth development outcomes

· Establish and monitor adherence to policies and procedures

Implement a strategic planning process that results in the development and implementation of a quality strategic plan.

Identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement and implement plans for improvements.

Identify, recruit and develop effective board members. Ensure active participation by board members and support effective board roles and functioning. Ensure Board committees are provided with the information and support necessary to fulfill their objectives.

Ensure the annual budget is funded and organization has adequate cash flow.

Develop strategic plans to generate revenues through a variety of fund-raising techniques including grant writing, event planning and individual/corporate giving . Identify, cultivate and solicit donors.

Provide guidance to staff and volunteers performing resource development functions.

Work with CFO to develop, implement and monitor the Club’s annual budget.

Implement administrative and operational systems to support effective operations.

Ensure productive and effective staff performance, providing guidance, feedback and opportunities for professional development.

Develop and implement plans for updating existing technology and resources:

· Ensure the acquisition and allocation of funds for implementing and updating existing technology and resources;

· Ensure the maintenance of Club technology and information management systems.

Develop strategic alliances with community leaders and local officials. Develop collaborative partnerships with other youth serving organizations, members, parents, families, funders and community organizations.

Increase visibility of Club programs, services and activities and maintain good public relations.

Maintain contact with Board of Directors, Club staff, volunteers, and club members.

Maintain contact with potential and current donors, external community groups, parents, school officials, parents and school officials, and others as required.

Attend Massachusetts Alliance Meetings as well as Monthly CEO Meeting/Zoom.

Collaborate with Safety Committee to ensure compliance with BGCA Membership Requirements.

Ensure compliance with Department of Early Education and Care, EEC, to effectively manage licensed school sites.

Oversee Child and Adult Care Food Program, CACFP, which serves daily meals to members.

Develop metrics and outcomes to measure program success and areas for development.

Work with Unit Director to ensure the facility is up to code and maintained to ensure safety

Identify opportunities for facility improvement and growth to meet future program needs.
