Reporting to the Managing Director, Talent, The Talent & Office Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of our New York office and contribute to shaping the culture at Echoing Green. This is a hybrid role, requiring four days per week in our NYC office to ensure a seamless, welcoming, and dynamic workspace. This person will ensure the office is a welcoming, efficient, and well-maintained environment, acting as the primary point of contact for staff, visitors, and vendors, and contributing to onboarding and employee engagement .

Requirements

What You'll Do

As the Talent & Office Operations Manager, you will lead key work streams that include:

  • Office Management
  • Serve as the go-to person for Echoing Green's NY office, managing relationships with building management and vendors (custodial, security, maintenance, etc.)
  • Ensure the office is stocked, organized, and equipped to meet the needs of staff. This includes managing supplies and overseeing space reservations
  • Oversee reception services, acting as the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and partners, ensuring a welcoming environment for all
  • Support office safety and compliance by managing fire drills, maintenance, and other building-related processes
  • Assist new hires with navigating the office, including workspace setup, technology training, and tours
  • Manage the flow of incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries, ensuring smooth handling
  • Collaborate with other assistants to coordinate guest visits and special events in the office
  • Work closely with our IT partners to troubleshoot basic tech issues and ensure the office's technology infrastructure runs smoothly
  • Lead office-based activities and gatherings that foster connection and engagement among staff
  • Talent Operations
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, meetings, and logistics during the hiring process
  • Support the new hire onboarding process, ensuring everything is ready for an employee's first day
  • Partner with the Talent team and hiring managers to organize new hire equipment and pre-boarding logistics
  • Work with the Finance team to ensure accurate entry of new hire information into our HR systems
  • Support talent-related administrative tasks and employee engagement initiatives as needed

Salary: 85,000/year
