Engine Power Source, a leader in building and distributing Kubota engines custom built to power various types of equipment and generators, is seeking a talented Mechanical Sales Engineer to join our team. Our engineering team specializes in developing advanced mechanical application solutions tailored to customer needs, ensuring reliability and performance. In this role, you will directly engage with customers to understand their requirements and propose mechanical solutions that optimize overall equipment performance and ease of installation for our customers.

What You’d Do:

  • Collaborate with customers to identify mechanical requirements and develop tailored solutions for engine applications.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including specifications and proposals, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Conduct application reviews with customers, showcasing the capabilities of our engines and mechanical systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and technical expertise to clients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding mechanical performance and applications.
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position our products in the market.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or sales roles, preferably in the generator or industrial equipment sectors.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD (Creo/Solidworks, etc) and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and presentations.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • A motivated and flexible team player who takes initiative, adapts to change, collaborates effectively, and communicates clearly.

This position is primarily onsite at our Rock Hill, SC headquarters. The standard schedule is Monday – Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. All new hires must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
