Job Title: Jr. Desktop/Helpdesk Support Analyst

Location: New York, NY

Type: 6-12 month contract

Shift: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Jr. Desktop/Helpdesk Support Analyst to join their team. Looking for a candidate who is eager to learn and grow, with a strong foundation in IT support and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 desktop support to end-users, including troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software issues.
  • Support and maintain the Microsoft Stack, with a focus on OS 365.
  • Assist users with technical issues, ensuring a positive and efficient resolution to their problems.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to support processes and procedures.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, communicating effectively with users to resolve issues and provide a seamless experience.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements to IT processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of an Associate's degree.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a Level 1 Helpdesk or Desktop Support role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of the Microsoft Stack, particularly OS 365. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues effectively.
  • Soft Skills: Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and user-friendly manner. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
