As a business systems consultant on the Supplier Data and Systems Management - Business Support team, you'll coordinate triage work requests and manage business system issues. You'll also perform system maintenance, including production table and database updates to ensure continuous business operations. You'll work closely with IT and business stakeholders to provide customer and product support, ensuring the successful ongoing functionality of our business and IT solutions. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with our Analysis and Sourcing team to support the growing demand for data essential to acquisition, rating, and underwriting for the business's industry-leading segmentation.

This is a remote position.

Must-have qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of five years of experience in business process (e.g. end-to-end process development, process design, etc.) and/or back-end business systems (e.g. systems enhancements, testing and analyzing systems, etc.)
  • {OR} Successful completion of the Progressive-sponsored LEAP (Learn, Explore, Apply, Prepare) internship program
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of two years of experience in business process (e.g. end-to-end process development, process design, etc.) and/or back-end business systems (e.g. systems enhancements, testing and analyzing systems, etc.)

Preferred skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Knowledgeable about insurance industry regulations and standards
  • Experienced in database management, system maintenance, and table updates
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to define issues, recommend improvements, and implement solutions
  • Quick learner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation
  • $58,100 - $102,800/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 24% to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
