  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

We’re seeking a dynamic and resourceful PR Outreach Specialist with a few years of experience to drive our public relations efforts for (5-10 hours per week). In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders. You’ll work directly with the Founders to craft compelling stories that resonate with our audience and effectively communicate our brand’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies that align with our overall marketing goals.
  • Identify and engage with relevant media contacts, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Craft press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
  • Pitch story ideas to journalists and secure coverage in key publications.
  • Monitor media coverage and compile reports on PR efforts and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Founders to gather insights and stories worth sharing.
  • Assist in organizing events, webinars, and other promotional activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and news to identify PR opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in PR, communications, or a related field.
  • Bonus if you have experience in sustainability or interior design,
  • Proven track record of successful media outreach and coverage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities and a knack for networking.
  • Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
  • Ability to think creatively and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
