About The Role

As a Software Developer at McGohan Brabender, you will design, develop and maintain software applications, automation scripts, services and other process automation tools. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual, focused on collaboration with other IT and non-IT resources to create the best customer centered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write high quality, semantic, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Engineer and develop applications, processes and services within Microsoft .NET framework.
  • Web development utilizing PHP, Javascript, AngularJS.
  • Utilizing, updating and maintaining related applications SQL back end.
  • Automation of processes from code, low-code and visual-code.
  • Work with business teams to create technical requirements and deliver within time and scope.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry technologies and best practices, applying them where appropriate to our projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (CS, MIS, etc.) preferred, experience may serve as an adequate substitute for a degree.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL, APIs (REST), PHP, JS based frameworks.
  • Experience with the use of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or similar).
  • Experience with CRMs (Salesforce is a plus).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Previous experience in insurance industry/brokerage is a plus.
