Clean the World Global is a global leader in sustainable impact solutions that aims to make the world a better place. It comprises Clean the World, which offers a Global Hospitality Recycling Program providing a zero-waste solution by diverting soap bars and plastic amenities from landfills, and CTW Events, which provides global impact team-building experiences with a social purpose, for corporations like Amazon, UPS and Chick-fil-A.

Clean the World Culture

The ideal candidate will bring talent, passion, focus and experience to the team but more importantly will embody our culture of collaboration, compassion, accountability, respect, resilience, excellence, and sustainability (CARES).

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

  • Create and manage digital communications, including email campaigns, blogs and social media posts.
  • Abiding by each brand’s tone of voice, write/ edit copy for various marketing materials, such as email campaigns, social media posts, newsletters, flyers, press releases, blog articles, web pages, advertising pieces, and video scripts.
  • Manage monthly newsletters for Clean the World, CTW Events and The WASH Foundation.
  • Analyze and report on email campaigns results.

Specific Accountabilities

Copywriting:

  • Ensure that all copy accurately reflects each brand’s tone of voice and is consistent throughout.
  • Craft unique, relevant stories for our “products” (Hospitality, Events, Foundation).
  • Write / edit copy for the company’s websites and landing pages, and collaborate with SEO manager to incorporate keywords.
  • Write content for social media posts, advertising, and events, as well as other formats and media.
  • Write Press releases.
  • In collaboration with the assigned videographer, draft video scripts, as needed.

Email Campaigns:

  • Write email campaigns as requested by each brand.
  • Work with graphic design team on required illustrations.
  • Build each email campaign in HubSpot and ensure timely publication to the relevant contact lists.
  • Analyze and report on results on a monthly basis (open rate, number of click and conversions).
  • Manage each brand’s social media calendar.
  • Write social media posts, based on briefs from the Product Marketing team and seasonal events.
  • Leveraging Canva or working with the graphic design team, create visuals for the posts, following the company’s brand standards.
  • Post content using HubSpot.
  • Analyze posts’ performance and report on results on a monthly basis.

Social Media:

Blogs:

  • Write/ edit several blog articles each month.
  • Post blog on our websites.

Newsletter:

  • Manage the entire newsletter process, working with each one of our three brands.
  • Edit submitted articles copy and/ or write new content.
  • Leveraging Canva or working with graphic design team on required illustrations.
  • Build each newsletter in HubSpot and ensure timely publication to the relevant contact segments.
  • Post articles on our websites blogs.
  • Analyze and report on results on a monthly basis (open rate, number of clicks and conversions).

Support to other Departments:

  • Support the Human Resources team by drafting / editing materials such as amendments to employee handbook and onboarding forms to reflect company’s identity, as needed.

This is a hybrid role. The schedule is onsite M-Thur at our corporate headquarters and a remote Friday. We are not offering full time remote work for this role.

Specific Skills & Requirements

  • 3 years minimum of professional experience in copywriting and engaging different audiences for different brands.
  • 2 years minimum of professional experience in crafting successful email campaigns.
  • Journalistic experience, a huge plus.
  • A creative soul with a knack for getting the point across in a unique and concise manner.
  • Adaptable with the ability to write in a variety of styles and voices.
  • Organized multitasker who is able to adapt to last minute changes or challenges.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Solid ability to understand and follow brand and corporate identity standards.
  • Excellent communicator and team player.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience with online research, HubSpot, Asana and AI is a plus.
