The Role

The HRBP Enablement Team At Block Aims To Drive Innovative, Efficient, Scalable Solutions To Empower HRBPs To Act As Strategic Business Partners And Change Agents For The Company. We Achieve This By Focusing On

  • Alignment: Help to define roles and responsibilities of the HRBP team, review and iterate on our operating model; empower HRBPs through role clarity and skillset development
  • Communication: Serve as a dot connector between center of excellence (COE) outputs and HRBP delivery; Prepare and enable HRBPs to be strategically positioned to act on the People team and Block’s behalf
  • Community Engagement: Build an engaged HR community across Block, to encourage best practice sharing and collaboration; Identify strategic learning opportunities and development programs that would support ideal state of HR talent at Block
  • Infrastructure: Create, deliver and maintain HRBP tools, processes, and resources that help create best in class practices and increase efficiency of HRBPs

The HRBP Enablement Partner will partner with the HRBP and COE teams to support the design and execution of process, programs, and initiatives. The Enablement Partner will be focused on building the tools, resources, and infrastructure needed to engage and support our HRBP community.

You Will

  • Cultivate strong cross-functional partnership with HRBP and COE teams, to understand and represent the voice of the HRBP team.
  • Partner with COE team in the design and execution of scalable go-to-market ready solutions to address identified and prioritized challenges and opportunities.
  • Own and deliver on HRBP communications, ensuring the HRBP community is well informed and engaged real-time, with resources to support their delivery of work.
  • Support development of the HRBP team, oversee work performed, provide agile support to both COEs and HRBPs.
  • Use subject-matter expertise (HRBP, DIE&B, Workforce Planning, People Analytics and Talent Acquisition), data, and technology to identify root-cause issues and develop recommendations and new approaches to annual/BAU HR processes, programs and/or initiatives.
  • Partner on large scale, enterprise-wide HR transformation efforts and special projects, bringing the voice of the HRBP and a holistic cross functional HR viewpoint (from collaboration with HR COEs).
  • Cultivate a strong network and feedback loop with the HR Business Partner community. In partnership with the HR Delivery & Employee Experience Team, establish routines and forums to regularly gather the HRBP point of view on a variety of business issues and challenges.
  • Seek to understand and anticipate what HRBPs will need to deliver an amazing experience to the client.

You Have

  • Experience as a Human Resources Business Partner and/or in Human Resources (DIE&B, HR Ops, Workforce Planning, People Analytics, Talent Acquisition) in a multinational organization
  • Strong implementation skills and ability to juggle multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Process-oriented, results driven individual who can navigate in ambiguity and produce outcomes.
  • Strong influencing, communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to navigate in a highly matrixed organization effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to turn findings into recommendations and implementation plans that will meet business objectives.
  • Able to quickly build rapport across a wide range of audience types.
  • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, frequent change, or unpredictability.
  • Resourceful, ability to independently navigate the organization to seek and find experts and answers.
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, Workday and PowerBI skills preferred Advanced Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
