Senior Functional Tech Analyst
Our client is seeking a Senior Functional Tech Analyst to join their Strategic Enterprise Capabilities (SEC) team. This team is focused on transforming the way business is conducted by leveraging advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and premier technology solutions to support the retail experience of the future. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, apply Agile methodologies, and provide expertise in future-state technology solutions for Direct Digital capabilities.
Senior Functional Tech Analyst Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for future-state technical solution design for Direct Digital capabilities.
  • Collaborate directly with business users to understand needs and support overall design processes.
  • Document and provide technical expertise for enabling data and technical requirements for design specifications.
  • Partner with business process experts to evaluate solution options and ensure that designs meet business objectives.
  • Participate in and contribute to future-state business process design.
  • Ensure alignment with technical strategies and governance.
  • Collaborate with SAP and other technology partners to evaluate, design, and deliver technology solutions.
  • Validate and recommend acceptance of business process design and requirements.
  • Perform integration configuration and development tasks.
  • Define and document hand-offs to Operations and Production Support teams.
  • Provide Quality Management (QM) testing support for configuration changes and custom enhancements.
  • Align with company technical standards and work in 2-week Agile sprints to deliver value.

Senior Functional Tech Analyst Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field, or 7+ years of experience in digital applications, processes, and master data.
  • Strong understanding of Direct Digital applications, systems, and master data.
  • Proficiency with system integration technologies (Fusion, Informatica, AWS).
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and documenting requirements.
  • Knowledge of Direct processes and digital business drivers.
  • Proven experience in implementing and maintaining ERP application suites (SAP, Sterling) in Retail/Fashion/Footwear industries; SAP S4 and Fashion configuration preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of STO and Digital Order flow, along with O2O business models.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, LEAN, Kanban, XP Programming.
  • Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, such as VersionOne.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to work through ambiguity while maintaining a growth mindset.
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills to ensure high-quality delivery across teams.
  • Experience working with onshore/offshore teams and using virtual communication tools.
