  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We seek for a Database Administrator role in Austin, TX for a long term contract and it is a Hybrid role.
Candidates must be local as they will need to be onsite 2 days a week one of those days are Tuesday.
The Database Developer / Administrator at this level will

  1. Work as part of a Scrum Team
  2. Complete user stories, bugs and technical debt
  3. Review, update and develop PL/SQL including LRS and other Oracle Spatial operations
  4. Integrate PL/SQL code into Azure DevOps code repository
  5. Evaluate user requests for new data elements, new features and provide any necessary technical assistance
  6. Perform data modeling, prototyping, and maintain data dictionary ensuring uniformity of definitions and standards
  7. Monitor database performance and recommend efficiency improvements
  8. Help resolve database-related security risks and vulnerabilities
  9. Assist with required reporting as established by the client

Minimum Yrs of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications: 8+ years

  1. Oracle Spatial (dynamic segmentation, LRS, SDO)
  2. Oracle PL/SQL
  3. Version control systems (Azure DevOps, GIT)
  4. SQL Developer (or other like IDEs)
  5. Esri ArcSDE (integration with Oracle Spatial)

Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Familiarity with

  1. Azure DevOps (project management, user stories/bugs/test cases, etc.)
  2. Eclipse
  3. Agile methodology
