Job Description
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR in North Alabama. The QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day activities within the Quality Department, inspecting parts prior to shipping, ensure that all inspection equipment is in good working out, having the ability to work independently and in support of a team environment, critical thinking and using good judgment in decision-making. The position will also aid in the in-process inspection process and shipping process as needed.
Essential Functions/Duties
This is largely a physically active role including walking long distances (over uneven surfaces) to/within our production facility, lifting 50lbs or more, and standing for long periods. Position also requires bending, stooping, squatting, or standing as necessary. Cognitive abilities required include deductive reasoning, information ordering, oral comprehension, oral expression, problem sensitivity, written comprehension, and written expression. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- Perform sample inspections on all outbound product to ensure product quality standards are met.
- Organize and maintain all inspection instruments.
- Coordinate with Quality Manger or team to schedule calibration services as needed.
- Correspond with Quality Assurance representatives on any defects found during inspections.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work effectively with or without direct supervision as well as independently or in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
