Job Title: Cost Control Analyst

Job Description

The Assistant Cost Controls Specialist will support all aspects of project controls and reporting, including cost control, cost forecasting, financial analysis, progress measurement, project change management, schedule development, and schedule control. Candidate will assist with project set-up in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software, input data, maintain logs, and run reports. Additionally, will help create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), develop and maintain scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts on small projects. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving Purchase Orders for proper coding, documenting changes to cost reports or forecasts, and managing upstream and downstream change orders. You will also assist in developing cash flow, applying logic ties within schedules, resource loading, coordinating project schedules, and distributing pre-programmed scheduling reports. Verification of progress measurements, maintaining progress curves, performing material takeoffs, and conducting quality checks and field audits are also part of the role.

This is a fully on-site position in California, California.

Work Environment

Candidate must work in the San Diego office. No remote or hybrid work available. There's no per diem and no relocation availability for this position. The candidate must work the traditional work schedule to start. If interested in a flex 9/80 schedule, this is a possibility.
