Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is integral to our HR operations, focusing on a range of responsibilities including benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior HR management to enhance our workforce and achieve departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong relationships across all departments to support employee relations and provide counseling as needed.
  • Assist in the recruitment process for various positions, including conducting interviews and aiding in the development of job-specific interview questions.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare research and statistical data to inform policy and procedural implementation.
  • Address employee complaints, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of personnel policies and the maintenance of the employee handbook.
  • Participate in setting department goals and recommend innovative approaches to improve departmental efficiency and service delivery.
  • Support internal employee investigations alongside the HR Manager.
  • Maintain records in the human resource information system.
  • Assist in designing and delivering employee training and development programs.
  • Provide daily support for benefits administration and ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Engage in safety and wellness initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Attend administrative meetings and relevant seminars to stay informed on HR best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar HR role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently on diverse projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
