We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Maintenance Manager! This role is based in our facility in Fort Pierce, Florida and reports to the Plant Manager.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing the maintenance department and ensuring activities are completed within a timely manner and within budget. Activities will include equipment installation, design, costing and equipment & building maintenance.

We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Maintenance Manager! This role is based in our facility in Fort Pierce, Florida and reports to the Plant Manager.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing the maintenance department and ensuring activities are completed within a timely manner and within budget. Activities will include equipment installation, design, costing and equipment & building maintenance.
Principle Responsibilities
- Oversee functions related to maintenance and supporting plant projects
- Monitor & schedule maintenance activities for plant equipment & the building
- Collaborate with plant leadership & Maintenance Excellence team to drive continuous improvement initiatives at the facility
- Assist in sustaining and continually improving the 5S program
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program that will maximize the productivity of the equipment/tooling, including the safety & environmental components of the equipment/tooling
- Follow up on delivery of materials and equipment through maintaining communications with suppliers and contractors
- Source new process equipment and materials, research benchmarking of new processes for continuous improvement to meet changing needs
- Monitor and manage the Control of Hazardous Energy Program (LOTO)
- Monitor and manage the working at heights program
- Maintain accurate and up to date reference manuals and materials for all equipment & machinery
- Completion of post-secondary education, preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Must be familiar with ordering MRO materials.
- Requires specialized technical knowledge in electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Experience with Central Maintenance Management Systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and project management skills.
