  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Windchill Developer to complete an automation project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windchill PLM systems and a strong background in developing REST APIs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing REST APIs within our customer s existing Windchill instance to enhance system integration and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Develop robust and scalable REST APIs to integrate with the existing Windchill PLM system.
  • System Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and ensure seamless connectivity between Windchill and other enterprise systems.
  • Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure Windchill to support API development and integration needs.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of APIs to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for developed APIs, including usage guidelines and best practices.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for developed APIs, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Windchill development.
    • Proven experience in developing REST APIs.
    • Strong understanding of Windchill architecture and PLM concepts.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and related technologies.
    • Experience with RESTful web services and API design.
    • Familiarity with Windchill customization and configuration.
    • Knowledge of database management and SQL.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other PLM systems.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Certification in Windchill or related technologies
