Role: Full Stack Python Developer
Duration: 6+ month
Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite Plano TX, McLean VA, or Richmond VA
Required Skills:
Python (for back-end or Full Stack openings)
Angular (13+ acceptable, 16+ preferred)
Node.js (NPM only)
AWS (Lambdas, ECS, DynamoDB, S3 required; SQS, SNS preferred)
Testing experience (beyond unit testing, should have some experience in integration, regression, or functional testing)
Job description:
platform that tracks dependency management within Capital One. Internal-facing application that tracks application dependencies, APIs, integrations, endpoints, infrastructure dependency, etc. Started the project 1 year ago, have a baseline application in production, need to optimize, scale, and add new features.
Must be senior recourses
Their front-end is Angular 16-17, open to previous versions (~13 +) but need core Angular experience, understanding of modular development.
Using Cytoscape graphical interface package for Angular, nice to have.
Node.js as a package manager only, code compilation
Back-end is all Python, REST API in Flask
All serverless work, Lambdas required
ECS containers and cluster experience required
DynamoDB database scripting, interaction
Responsible for all of their own testing; not just unit testing but will get into regression, functional testing (whole team owns testing together, no separate SDET/QA resources)
SQS and SNS as message queuing/caching system--nice to have
All deployments running through OnePipeline, Jenkins backed but won't be touching the Jenkins configs, easy deployments.
