Job Description:
  • Our team works on open-source GPU drivers for Linux.
  • We are leading contributors to the client GPU drivers included in popular Linux distributions like Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop, and Debian.
  • Our software is used in exciting products such as the Tesla Model S and the Steam Deck.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for working with Linux container technologies (such as cgroup and namespace) as well as tooling (such as Docker, Podman, Buildah, Kubernetes, etc.) in the wider container ecosystem with client hardware.
  • Candidate will be a member of the core team of incredibly talented and highly motivated industry specialists and will work with the very latest graphics and compute hardware and software technology.
  • Excellent debugging and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Broad technical knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration.
  • PC architecture knowledge.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience dealing with customers or Linux/open-source community.
  • Advanced working knowledge with git.
  • Working knowledge with containers (in terms of both image packaging and production deployment).
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with Go (golang) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Kubernetes internal.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with C and Linux software development tool chain.
  • Experience with networking is a strong plus.
  • Experience with container cluster networking and storage is a strong plus.
  • Have a track record in contributing to open-source software.
  • Experience with managing bare metal (non-cloud) cluster is a strong plus.
  • Have DevOps experience in building out continuous integration infrastructure.
Academic Credentials:
  • Bachelor s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent .
