Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Pay rate: 22.00

Shift: 1st: 7a-3:45pm

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to support our team, vendors, carriers, and internal customers by resolving shipping, visibility, and costing queries. The role includes assisting with clerical assignments and has the potential for growth into responsibilities focused on optimizing product movement to meet customer expectations in the most cost-effective way. You will also support the Logistics Management Team with various additional tasks and processes as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Track and trace shipments with FedEx and other service providers.
  • Maintain shipping logs and communicate shipping activities with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
  • Arrange freight carrier pickups and coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Ensure daily outgoing shipments comply with customer, industry, and company guidelines.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for domestic and international shipments, including air bills, bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs paperwork.
  • Prepare Dangerous Goods documentation per CFR 49 and IATA regulations for Lithium-Ion Battery shipments.
  • Coordinate with warehouse/production teams to verify outgoing shipments and ensure accurate delivery.
  • Assist in loading trucks as needed to ensure safe transport and minimize potential claims.
  • Maintain regular working hours (9 AM - 6 PM daily).

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in global logistics, including air, ocean, and trucking, and knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations.
  • High school diploma or Associate degree preferred.
  • Experience in the computer hardware industry is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • International communication skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Positive attitude and comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
