Position Summary

The Data Intern position is an integral part of a 6-person team. The role is central within the organization and is responsible for day-to-day processing of data files, loading these files in our proprietary database application, and assist the data analysis team members by creating formulae, designing templates, and running calculations in Excel.

The individual in this position will participate in company-wide projects that involve working with different teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, energetic individual to contribute meaningfully to a growing business and gain valuable experience.

Key personality traits for success include high energy and drive, the ability to work on a team and a questioning mind. The position is hybrid. During the first three months of employment, the individual will be expected to be in the office up to three days a week for training. After the initial three-month period, their schedule will be determined based on their manager’s discretion.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare Excel files by writing formula for pulling data from other files
  • Check data quality and accuracy
  • Track team tasks and alert team members of upcoming deadlines
  • Download, process, and upload data files
  • Identify opportunities for automation

Education/Experience

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree with graduation in 2025
  • Courses or experience with a focus on data analytics is a plus


The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 – $20.00 per hour. The hourly rate offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual hourly rate offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
