Job Description:

Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Senior HR Business Partner Advisor working on the Intelligence and Homeland Security Human Resources team, you'll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation.

Our work depends on the selected individual working in our Annapolis Junction, Maryland office a minimum of two days per week and as needed.

HOW A HR BUSINESS PARTNER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Administers human resources activities for one or more programs, or a small Business Area
  • Performs increasingly complex, professional level tasks related to multiple functional areas of HR
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development).
  • Partner with our Employee Relations team and Legal on the investigation and timely resolution of employee relations issues
  • Provides HR data analysis as needed
  • Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs
  • Reviews personnel actions to ensure fair and equitable application of human resources policies, as well as compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
  • May travel to company locations and client sites as required
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Required Experience: High School Diploma and 12+ years of related HR experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of related Human Resources experience
  • Must have active Secret clearance to be considered and willing to obtain a TS/SCI POLY eligible.
  • Current experience working in the government contracting space
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Able to flex skills and experience to suit a wide variety of business needs
  • Able to navigate ambiguity, complexity and escalate concerns as needed
  • Has depth of understanding the business to prioritize critical activities in support of business initiatives
  • Ability to navigate situations with peers and business managers
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

The likely salary range for this position is $101,566 - $134,550. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
