Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial operations for our Southeast region. This role is crucial in maintaining financial integrity, supporting our acquisition strategy, and driving operational excellence across our growing portfolio of businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completes month end accounting for various Partner Companies in accordance with GAAP. Includes but not limited to revenue recognition accruals, payroll accruals, ASC 842 lease entries, depreciation, and amortization.
  • Conducts financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for revenue opportunities/cost savings.
  • Adheres to timely performance against financial reporting schedule.
  • Performs monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for various Partner Companies.
  • Assists with cash forecasting and analysis.
  • Participates in budget and forecasting activities including tracking of actual results against budget/forecast.
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Assists Regional Controller and PartnerCos with annual audits.
  • Assist in new system implementation and integration as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or acquisitive environment
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with M&A accounting and post-acquisition integration is highly desirable
