Job Description
The Regulatory Compliance Technician will have responsibilities that include the research of and adherence to FDA labeling and compliance laws. The Regulatory Compliance Technician (RCT) ensures compliance of raw material documentation, finished product documentation, and finished product packaging with internal specifications and external regulatory requirements. The RCT works closely with raw material suppliers to ensure required documentation is current, complete, and meets company standards.
This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Kent, Washington.
This position is primarily Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Job Description
The Regulatory Compliance Technician will have responsibilities that include the research of and adherence to FDA labeling and compliance laws. The Regulatory Compliance Technician (RCT) ensures compliance of raw material documentation, finished product documentation, and finished product packaging with internal specifications and external regulatory requirements. The RCT works closely with raw material suppliers to ensure required documentation is current, complete, and meets company standards.
- Oversee all certifications for product.
- File all government certifications/minority certs, etc.
- Work with major customer portals for updates and upload of required documents.
- Produce all customer product specification sheets.
- Issue all certificates of analysis for customers.
- Manage document requests.
- Request all supplier documents.
- Support packaging quality control and management.
- Support other members of the QA department as needed and/or during PTO.
- Complete research and stay up to date on regulatory laws and standards.
- Review Sales Customer and Consumer facing document for accuracy and legality: including handouts, presentations, online retail listings and social media posts, among other items.
- Report any issues that arise with an operator immediately to Quality Manager. Being confrontational with any employee will not be tolerated and can lead to disciplinary action.
- Any other task as assigned.
- 1-2 years regulatory/document control experience in GMP, preferably in Food & Beverages
- Strong research skills, including expertise in FDA and USDA regulations, certifications, supplier quality measures, and third-party testing
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing time-sensitive deliverables

- The Regulatory Compliance Technician will be expected to communicate regularly via text/SMS. A company phone can be provided

- Attention to detail, good writing and technical comprehension skills
