Job Description:

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. We are seeking a Program Analyst Senior to join our team to support Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) activities. As a Program Analyst Senior, you will perform a variety of administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program. You will establish and define program plan requirements and perform in-depth studies; develop plans to assess quality and perform related monitoring tasks; assist with process development and implementation; monitor and report on program performance; and interact with the customer and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently in a team environment and be flexible around evolving needs while managing both schedule and overall commitments in order to meet project deliverables.

This is a remote position (centered in the DC-MD-VA area).

In this role, a typical day will include:
  • Performs a variety of administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program.
  • Develops plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program.
  • Participates in establishing and defining program requirements.
  • Interacts regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
  • May perform business development activities.
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
  • May serve as a team or task lead.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience preparing documentation for delivery or publication.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Familiarity with Agile approaches such as Scrum and SAFe.
  • Familiarity with Confluence and SharePoint.
  • Training/education/experience in task coordination; functional knowledge of IT project management concepts and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage frequently changing priorities of competing importance.
  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our program.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines, following detailed written policies, processes, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Experience onboarding users to a new system/environment is highly desired.

The likely salary range for this position is $69,722 - $80,179. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
