Location: Mechanicsburg, PA - local candidates only. Candidates must be located within the Greater Harrisburg/ Mechanicsburg/ Central PA Area to be considered for this position.
Position Type: Hybrid, 1 day per week onsite but additional days onsite may be required.
Contract Length: 8 months, extension likely
Position Overview:
The position involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining integration solutions using SQL Server SSIS and ETL Framework, as well as performing data conversion, ensuring data integrity, and stabilizing existing ETL processes. The resource will work in a hybrid role (currently one day onsite) in Mechanicsburg, PA, and is expected to obtain Commonwealth-issued equipment and possibly complete badging. The start date is contingent upon clearance approval, and the contract is funded through 6/30/25, with potential for extension based on project needs.

Duties:
- Optimize, develop, and maintain integration solutions using SQL Server SSIS and ETL Framework (BIDS) as necessary to connect legacy data stores, the data warehouse
- Develops, maintains, and optimizes all efforts related to Data Warehouse (SSIS, Stored procedures, Views etc.)
- Creates data warehouse components using best practices methodologies
- Builds and maintains through documentation of the data and how it is moved through layers
- Perform data conversion from OLTP to DW using tools like SSIS/Data Factory
- Identify and analyze data discrepancies and data quality issues and work to ensure data consistency and integrity
- Ensure the stabilization and high performance of existing ETL processes
- Troubleshoot and complex data-related issues as well as provide support to production
- Develop and deploy ETL job workflow with reliable error/exception handling and rollback
- 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study
- 6 years of ETL experience (Including SSIS or other ETL tools)
- 6 years of Data Analytics experience
- 6 years of Data Warehouse knowledge and experience
- 4 years of experience with MS SQL Reporting Server (SSRS)
- 3 years of experience with Power BI
- 3 years of Web API development experience
