Provide a short description of the Position:The Senior Software Developer position within the Shared Application Services/New York Business Express (SAS/NYBE) Portal team will work with a group of developers to implement the Office of Cannabis (OCM) Online Applications. The candidate will aid in developing an efficient application and approval process for the citizens of New York State who use the NYBE portal to start, run, and grow their business. Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate:Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Analyze and interpret business rules and workflows for application
design
Work with business analysts to understand requirements and design,
author, and develop business rules based on requirements using Oracle
Intelligent Advisor formally known as Oracle Policy Automation (OPA).
Debug and test Oracle Intelligent Advisor formally known as Oracle
Policy Automation (OPA).
Create new screens in Oracle Intelligent Advisor formally known as
Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) including interview creation for new
transactions.
Develop new framework functionality for the NYBE Portal.
Providing Application support and being on call as required
Create documentation and share knowledge with team members.
