Oracle EBS P2P Functional Consultant

ASSYST is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Functional Consultant to join our clients team. The Oracle EBS Procure-to-Pay Functional Consultant will provide essential support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications, with a primary focus on the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process. This role requires both technical and functional expertise to configure, maintain, and enhance Oracle modules including Procurement, iSupplier, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Procurement Contracts, and Sourcing. The consultant will work closely with business users to resolve issues, optimize configurations, and ensure smooth system operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive functional and technical support within the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) P2P applications.
• Modify and enhance existing configurations to meet evolving business requirements.
• Collaborate with end-users to resolve tickets and provide solutions to both functional and technical challenges.
• Ensure timely responses and resolutions to open issues and incidents.
• Independently or as part of a technical team, handle production issues and implement system enhancements.
• Identify areas for system improvement and collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions.
• Work closely with the DBA team for patch management, bug fixes, and production migrations.
• Engage with Oracle Support to troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues.
• Set up and configure Procure-to-Pay applications according to business needs.
• Modify configurations as required to align with changing requirements and ensure system optimization.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in application and systems development.
• At least 10 years of technical and functional experience with Oracle EBS.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in supporting Procure-to-Pay (P2P) applications.
• Strong expertise in Procure-to-Pay application setup and configuration.
• In-depth knowledge of key Oracle modules: Procurement, iSupplier, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Procurement Contracts, and Sourcing.
• Experience in developing and modifying components using the following tools and technologies:
• Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
• Oracle Forms and Reports
• Oracle JDeveloper
• Oracle Workflow Builder
• PL/SQL, SQLPlus, and SQLLoader
• XML Publisher
• APIs and RICE Components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions)
• Ability to create or enhance OAF pages, forms, and workflows to meet business needs.
