Engineer: Manufacturing Production

We are seeking an Educated Experienced Engineer (internships will not be enough) with the knowledge skills and abilities to assure desired outcomes in Manufacturing Production Processes.

This Plant Engineering role will involve (though not be limited to) Project Planning and Coordination.

If hired, you will be responsible for assisting leadership in directing the flow of work and communication between departments as well as identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency.

This will entail recommending and maintaining the production schedule with appropriate sequencing for the manufacture of aids in construction, i.e., jigs, fixtures, machinery, forklifts, cranes, etc.

You should be "hands-on" and capable of designing and developing procedures for deploying such aids and implementing procedure modifications as needed.

Additionally, your involvement with Manufacturing Production Planning will encompass Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Projects and require you to participate in frequent reviews, provide status reports, and recommend efficiency improvements to the production workload.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain Master Production Schedule
• Improve execution of production assignments
• Confer with other departments to determine progress of work and completion dates
• Compile reports on costs and inventory levels
• Review and communicate production status reports
• Serve as point of contact between production and planning teams
• Assign work to Engineers and monitor their progress
• Maintain ISO-9002 compliance

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in production, planning, or other related fields
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Leadership Skills/Ability to Manage
• Ability to work well in teams
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Familiarity with SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) component

Please Note: SAP is not a mandatory requirement; we'll consider qualified candidates familiar with other ERP or MRP programs and acquired expertise in Production Planning and Scheduling.
