Responsibilities

  • Draft bid letters, budgets, complete bid forms and maintain bid log
  • Enter and maintain proposals in databasesystem
  • Complete all general pre-qualificationpackages
  • Own communication forEstimatingdepartment, including “nobid”letters,labels,valueengineeringletters, contract review summaries, agendas,etc
  • Order plans and specifications as necessary
  • Compile and organize awarded estimator files
  • Process management credit card statements
  • Attend estimating meetings and draft meeting minutes to distribute toattendees
  • Obtain bid bonds for all areaoffices
  • Organize various internal and external events
  • Manage office operations, including mail, supplies and maintenance
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements

  • One (1) plus years of preconstruction, estimating or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • Familiarity with estimating systems
  • Stellar organization, eye for detail, and follow-through
  • Optimistic, with an eagerness to help others
  • Keen emotional intelligence and steadfast composure
  • Technology know-how with the ability to pick up quickly on new/unfamiliar systems
  • Solid communication
