SCHEDULE -

Monday - Friday between 7:00am - 4:00pm

SALARY RATE -

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 / year

  • Ability to work with different teams, departments and customer to understand their data needs.
  • Comfortable with learning new tools and technologies as the data landscape evolves.
  • Ability to manage multiple data related project simutaneously.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

  • Prepares reports/dashboards through the use of various reporting software, on a daily basis.
  • Analyzes pricing issues for customer support, on a daily basis.
  • Maintains product and vendor databases by processing changes such as manufacturer number, vendor contact information, standard pack, discontinued products and other miscellaneous product changes.
  • Responsible for all system report writing for analysis and decision-making purposes utilizing all company data sources.
  • Brings data analysis contributions to the team by working independently, thinking critically, and identifying root causes issues.
  • Interprets program information and transforms it into data files (i.e. Excel spreadsheets); uploads and key-enters data; and maintains documentation.
  • Ensures accuracy of data by proofing changes, additions, or deletions.
  • Prepares new product, new vendor, or price change data files from program information for review. Ensures that necessary cross reference and optional product data is provided.
  • Maintains daily, monthly price/cost transmissions from corporate office.
  • Ensures product and vendor changes additions, or deletions are communicated to departments by uploading information to the computer system and writing informative emails.
  • Helps ensure that existing departmental procedures and forms are streamlined and complete by analyzing existing procedures and suggesting changes to their supervisor.
  • Partnering with all team members across the organization, regardless of department.
  • Special projects as assigned.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Data Analytics or other relevant education.
  • 2-5 years of data reporting/dashboard experience.
  • 1-2 years of proficient report creation based on data schemas.
  • ERP experience preferred.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel (knowledge of VBA) and office suite.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Teams or other video communication software/applications.
  • Ability to work with robust databases to extract and manipulate data (ETL skills/knowledge).
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as margins, discounts, and percentages.
  • Ability to identify data error patterns within ERP and other software platforms.
