Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically has 8+ years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, database design and administration; 4+ year of experience with information security.
  • Requires knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms.
  • Must have extensive knowledge in networking, databases, systems and/or Web operations.
  • Experience in a project management role. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of work streams simultaneously, and under deadline
  • Have a high level of personal integrity and very good professional judgement
  • Be accustomed to handling confidential matters with appropriate sensitivity. Be up to date on the current state of the discipline

Overview:
  • We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to join our Engineering Team to support security process and projects.
  • As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in managing highly complex or enterprise wide security and compliance projects.
  • This role encompasses both technical acumen and collaborative skills, as you will be collaborating with a diverse team to ensure controls systems are in compliance. We collaborate with development and devops teams to assure security is built-in to every application, infrastructure platform, and network.
  • The optimal candidate must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies, with specific experience managing large digital security initiatives, migrations, or threat response processes.
  • This role is also a critical conduit of the leadership team, partnering closely with the business community to identify and prioritize enhanced security protocols to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
Description:
  • Work horizontally across a large organization to identify and engage appropriate resources, align stakeholders, and execute management and control processes.
  • Represent the security needs of the organization by providing expertise and assistance across projects with regards to security issues.
  • Educate IT and the business about security policies and consults on security issues regarding user built/managed systems.
  • Assist in the tactical development and review of key technical support deliverables related to compliance audit reviews and controls monitoring.
  • Connect and build trusted partnerships with both management and technical resources.
  • Skillfully gather, organize, track and summarize information about large and complex problems.
  • Develop program plans and tailor project management processes to suit particular situations.
  • Identify and manage risks, drive issues to completion. Managing/Creating security documentation
